Content Warning for These Tangled Roots

I love it when a reader wants to explore the magical world of the Fold with me! However, I always want to be transparent about potentially upsetting events within my books. Readers should exercise their best judgment if sensitive to the following:

• attempted sexual assault (one character pins another character down, kisses her several times without consent, and tries to grope under her shirt; he's stopped before he can do anything further)
• fantasy peril and death (non-graphic: some blood but no gore)
• magical torture (non-graphic: an antagonist causes magically-induced pain to a character)
• mention of past sexual assault of a side character (vaguely described, no details)
